Includes data and statistics on national account, money and banking, inflation, population, demography, investment, infrastructure, agriculture, etc.
ACE Equity database covers all companies listed in Indian stock exchanges. Data includes financial and non-financial information of companies and sectors. It covers company, sector, mutual funds, macro economy and digital library. The database provides financial and general information on each companies - balance sheet, P & L account with schedules and sub schedules, segment-wise finance, cash flow, forex data, a gamut of ratios, quarterly, half yearly and annual results with currency conversion facility, share price data, shareholding information, complete information of the derivative market, sectorial indices movements, array of high quality news, and bulletin of corporate events. It's included excel add-on for auto upgrade of company information. Please contact library to install offline database. Historical coverage: Last 15 to 20 years.

Provides real-time spot and futures prices, market intelligence, historical fundamental data and forecasts for agricultural crops. Commodities deliver data on prices for 200 varieties of 70 commodities from 150 markets. It also contains statistics on area, production and yield up to the district-level.

Provides data on households survey of India, Consumer Pyramids includes the following databases:
People of India dx: This database provides information on the members of the household. It includes identity indicators of the members, their education level, occupation, self-reported health status and financial inclusion. It also includes the employment/unemployment status and associated labour market indicators. The employment/unemployment database has been expanded substantially. The People of India database is now offered in only the waves frequency. This reflects the manner in which the data is collected. It is collected once every wave for each member of the sample households. It reflects the position of members of households as of the date of the survey.
Aspirational India dx: This database provides information on the assets owned by the household, assets they intend to buy in the near future and assets that they bought in the recent past. It also includes status on whether the household has saved in specific financial instruments or whether it intends to save in them and, whether the household has borrowed and if so, from which sources and for what purpose. Besides, now the consumer sentiments responses are also provided in this database. This database is now offered in only the wave frequency. This reflects the manner in which the data is collected. It is collected once every wave for each of the sample households.
Income Pyramids dx: This service was earlier available as "Composition of Incomes". A truncated version was also available in "Household Income & Expenses". "Composition of Incomes" is now renamed to "Income Pyramids". Income information of a household continues to be presented in two files. One presents the income earned by a household from all sources including that which can be attributed to specific members and separately, that which cannot be attributed to specific individual members. The second file presents member wise income.
This information is only provided in monthly frequency. Monthly income of all months since January 2014 of all responding households and members is released in this service. The Waves presentation of this information has been discontinued. Income data for a month is released four months after the end of the month.
Consumption Pyramids dx: This service presents data in two files. One file provides the monthly time-series of expenditure on over a hundred individual expense items. Monthly expenses of all months since January 2014 of all responding households are made available in this service. Expenses data for a month is released four months after the end of the month. The second file contains the weekly expense incurred by households on select fast-moving expense items. This is new in the CP-DX offering. This is an observation made once for each household during a Wave. So, it contains the expenses made by the households on the select expense items during the seven days preceding the day of the survey.

Provides forecasts on growth, inflation, fiscal balance, balance of payments, corporate earnings and a host of sectorial indicators. The database has a huge depository of historical time series data which continuously updated.

Provides comprehensive compilation of state level statistics. Statistics are sourced from official documents of state government. The database includes socio economic indicator of all the states.

India exports and imports about 10,000 commodities to and from nearly 200 countries/regions. The database provides monthly statistics on this trade. It includes quantity, value and unit value in respect of each products exported or imported. The monthly time-series is available for up to ten years. Annual series is available for about 15 years.

Historical, global coverage of equities, stock markets, commodities, futures, currencies, options, bond markets, company financials, and economic data. The database is updated daily, and historical equity information goes back as far as 1973, though coverage varies across countries and types of content. Sources include national governments, OECD, EIU, IMF, World scope, and Morgan Stanley Capital (MSCI).
The District GDP is the database on the Indian economy, contains information on the performance of the economy at the district level. More importantly, it provides sector wise estimates of GDP for each of the districts of India (as per Census 2011).
It provides; Aggregate GDP, Primary sector (agriculture, mining, fishing, forestry, livestock), Secondary sector (construction, electricity, gas & water supply, manufacturing), Tertiary sector (transport, storage & communication, trade, hotel & restaurant, public administration, banking & insurance, others) - Overall 3 major sectors and all sub-sectors of the economy. Per worker and per capita GDP & sectoral share across all sectors (at current prices) from 2001-02 t0 2015-16. GDP forecast for the above mentioned sectors till 2017-18. GDP of IT- manufacturing and IT- services (at current and constant prices) & per worker GDP IT-manufacturing and IT-services (at current prices) for 2001-02 to 2015-16.

The service brings you, in a single platform, demographics, purchasing power or income and economic activity for - districts & towns enabling you to locate the markets of your choice. The reliable data and robust estimates in DM are powered with querying tools, supported by dynamic map-views that enable marketers identify and locate market geographies and households that can be prioritised. It also provides a unique feature in the interactive maps that facilitates the users to juxtapose their own internal datasets like sales, distributors etc along with the DM data on the map.
Includes statistical data on different countries on different socio economic indicators which are sourced from about 100 autonomous statistical databases, some most important sources are UNIDO, IMF, OECD and Eurostat.

It provides the secondary data for socioeconomic variables and market intelligence up to district level for all the states and union territories of India. It also provides Market Potential Index (MPI) and other data, in separate views for rural, urban, and the total Indian market for 630 districts.
The datasets are available upon request via the subscription request form. Once the user's eligibility is confirmed, he or she will be approved to proceed and will receive an email with the registration code and instructions.
Consumer Panel Data: The Consumer Panel Data consists of a representative panel of households that continuously provide information about their purchases in a longitudinal study in which panelists remain on as long as they continue to meet NielsenIQ's criteria. NielsenIQ consumer panelists use in-home scanners to record all of their purchases (from any outlet) for personal, in-home use. Consumers provide information about their households, the products they buy, as well as when and where they buy them. Data for 40,000–60,000 active panelists is available beginning in 2004 and includes annual updates.
Retail Scanner Data: Retail Scanner Data consists of weekly pricing, volume, and store environment information generated by point-of-sale systems from more than 90 participating retail chains across all US markets.
Data is available Beginning in 2006, with annual updates. All products have a UPC code and description, as well as a brand, multipack, and size, as well as NielsenIQ codes for the department, product group, and product module. Some products have extra features (e.g., flavor). Approximately 15,000 new stores have been added.
Nielsen's Ad Intel Data: Nielsen's Ad Intel Data, which began in 2010 and includes annual updates, covers advertising occurrences for a variety of media types across the United States. Market Code (i.e., 200 Designated Market Areas (DMAs) that can be matched to DMAs in the Consumer Panel and Retail Scanner datasets) can be used to segment this data. The Ad Intel Dataset, in particular, contains advertisement occurrences from media types such as national TV, local TV, radio, magazines, newspapers, FSI Coupons, Internet, digital platforms, cinema, and so on.
PanelView Surveys (Complementary to the Consumer Panel Data): This survey examines how households spent the Federal Government's rebate in 2008. These surveys, one from 2008 and one from 2011, contain information about where household members were born, where they live now, as well as additional information about education (e.g., college major), occupation, and purchase behavior in specific categories. The Panel Views surveys, which supplement the Consumer Panel Data, contain additional information about households and their members.

The National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) in India is a unique setup to carry out surveys on socio-economic, demographic, agricultural and industrial subjects for collecting data from households and from enterprises located in villages and in the towns. It is a focal agency of the Govt. of India for collection of statistical data in the areas which are vital for developmental planning.

OECD has 11,400 titles of books, vast collection of 8000 issues and articles from journals and periodicals, 5535 multilingual summaries and 5600 working papers on various subjects i.e. Economics, Education, Environment, Industry & Services, Transport, Development, Finance & Investment, Social Sciences, Humanities, Science & Technology, Agriculture, Trade, and Energy (IEA) & Nuclear Energy (NEA). Also, provide statistics from the OECD Indicators, Statistical databases and Statistical books, and It contains 2700 datasets, 60300 chapters, 175500 tables and graphs including 5 billion data points across 42 databases.
OECD.Stat includes data and metadata for OECD countries and selected non-member economies. It provides statistical data on General Statistics, Agriculture and Fisheries, Demography and Population, Economic Projections, Education and Training, Environment, Finance, Globalisation, Health, Industry and Services, Information and Communication Technology, International Trade and Balance of Payments Labour, National Accounts, Monthly Economic Indicators, Prices and Purchasing Power Parities, Public Sector, Taxation and Market Regulation, Productivity Regions and Cities, Science, Technology and Patents, Social Protection and Well-being, etc.
Provides current data of exchange-traded instruments including stocks, warrants, options, futures, indexes, etc. around the world, historical equity data ranging from several months to over 20 years, government and corporate bonds information from over 100 countries, foreign exchange rates for 175 currencies, comprehensive coverage on commodities and energy, economic indicators (e.g., consumer price index) for many countries, extensive business and financial information for listed companies.

The Vikram Sarabhai Library (VSL) is named after Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, world renowned physicist and founding Director of IIMA.
