Jignesh Amin has been working as a Senior Library Professional at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad since February 2008. Before entering IIM Ahmedabad, he worked as a Library Assistant at the Institute of Management, Nirma University, and the Consumer Education & Research Centre.

He contributed significantly to the development of Koha ILMS, the Vikram Sarabhai Library website, the 9th Annual Meet & Workshop of the INDEST-AICTE Consortium website, the National Information Centre on Management (NICMAN) website using Joomla, and the library conference website using OCS. He also contributed to the development of IIM Ahmedabad's institutional repository featuring video archives using DSpace.

He has published several research papers/articles in journals and conferences. He was awarded for Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the years 2011-12, 2017-18, 2021-22 and 2024-25.

Ms. Hiral Patel is B.Sc, M.L.I.Sc, She has received 'Gold Medal' in her M.L.I.Sc. degree from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.

Ms. Hiral has rich professional experience of working in various institutes of national repute like Nirma University, CEPT, NID, British Library, Behavioral Science Center - St. Xavier's College. She has also attended so many National and International Seminars/Conference throughout her career.

She was awarded for Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the years 2020-21 & 2023-24.

Dr. Banka Bihari Chand is the Librarian at Vikram Sarabhai Library. Earlier he has served as Deputy Librarian and Head at the Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore, as Librarian at National Council of Applied Economic Research, New Delhi, as a Librarian at US Library of Congress, New Delhi, and as Professional Assistant at Indian Institute of Management Indore.

Dr Chand has received his doctoral degree in Library and Information Science from Bangalore University. He earned his Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Sambalpur University, Odisha.

His areas of professional interest are Research Data Management, Digital Libraries and Information Management.

Ms. Asha Desai is working as an Assistant Librarian at Vikram Sarabhai Library. She joined the Institute in 2008 as a Professional Assistant (Library); before joining IIMA, she worked as an assistant librarian at ICFAI Business School, Ahmadabad. At present, she looks after digital resources and the general administration section of the library.

She was awarded for Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the years 2014-15, 2017-18 & 2022-23.

Mr Viralkumar Navik has been working as a Senior Library Professional at Vikram Sarabhai Library since February 2008. Before joining IIM Ahmedabad, he was working as a Librarian at Navrachana Higher Secondary School, Vadodara.

He works at the User Engagement and Library's General Administration right now. His main jobs have been to promote the library's tools and services and run events and programmes to get people involved, such as the online Know Your Library quiz, social media, the Author's Book Talk series and the National Information Centre on Management (NICMAN).

He was awarded Outstanding Performance at IIM Ahmedabad for the year 2014-15, 2018-19 & 2022-23.

He was awarded for best PPT Presentation at ETBL (Global Conference on Emerging Trends in Business Leadership) for 2015.

Mr. Mallikarjun Dora is presently working as Assistant Librarian at Vikram Sarabhai Library, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Prior to this he has worked with Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and Koustav Business School, Bhubaneswar.He has 16 research papers on his credit published in International and National Journal and Conferences.

Mr. Mallikarjun Dora has qualified UGC NET-JRF with subject library and information science in 2005.

He was awarded for Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the years 2011-12, 2015-16, 2017-18, 2021-22 & 2024-25.

He was the recipient of MANLIBNET best paper award in the year 2012.

He had worked as an Assistant Librarian for a brief period from September 2018 to March 2019 at IISER Berhampur.

Mr. Navnath began working as a Assistant Librarian at the Vikram Sarabhai Library of the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad on March 9, 2022.

He has more than eight years of professional experience. Before joining IIM Ahmedabad, he was working as Assistant Library and Information Officer at IIM Visakhapatnam. Preceding this, he has worked as Librarian at Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research & Russell Square International College in Mumbai.

He was awarded for Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the year 2023-24.

He has obtained graduation in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLISc.). He has done Master of Library & Information Science (MLISc.) from Mumbai University and also qualified the UGC-NET.

Ms Rina Patel has been working as a Senior Library Professional at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad since January 2008. Before joining IIM Ahmedabad, she worked as a Technical Assistant at All India Radio, Ahmedabad.

Earlier, she was in the Publications Division, where she developed the Photo Library and made case studies available online for the first time on the IIMA website. She has been in the Vikram Sarabhai Library since October 2013.

Mr. Bhavesh Patel has completed a B.E. (Computer Science) from HNGU, Gujarat; a Master of Science (Cyber Security) from BAOU; a BLIS from IGNOU; and an MBA (Operation Research) from IGNOU. He has been working at IIM Ahmedabad as a professional assistant (IT) since October 2013.

Mr. Bhavesh Patel started his career from IndiaNIC Info Tech Pvt. Ltd in 2007 as Sr. Web Developer. Before joining IIM Ahmedabad, he was working with the INFLIBNET Centre as a Project Officer (CS).

He is involved in the technical activities related to open-source software and library servers. Presently he is involved in website development, mobile application development, and other open-source software related to library and information centers.

He was the recipient of the Best Presenter Award at the 3rd International Conference on the Changing Landscape of Science & Technology Libraries (CLSTL 2025), hosted by IIT Gandhinagar in September 2025.

He was awarded Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the years 2015-16, 2020-21, and 2023-24.

Areas of interest include developing websites with various open-source software, such as PHP and WordPress, as well as library automation software like Koha, DSpace, SubjectPlus, and CORAL. Additionally, I am interested in AI integration with library reference services, including RAG-based chatbots.

Mr. Bhaumikkumar Solanki is working as Library Professional Assistant at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad since November 2015. Before joining IIM Ahmedabad, he was working in different positions with MICORE (MICA), CPIFT and SIEM.

He has worked in the Periodical, NICMAN and Database section of the library for last three years and currently he is working in the Reference Section. His primary assignments are related to the reference queries, inter-library loan and online chat service.

Mr Bhaumikkumar Solanki has qualified for the UGC NET with the subject Library and Information Science in 2012.

Mr. Shekappa Bandi started as a Library Professional Assistant at the Vikram Sarabhai Library of the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad on July 1, 2016. He previously worked at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai from 2010 to 2016, as well as at the Rajeev Gandhi College of Management Studies in Navi Mumbai from 2009 - 2010. He has over 15 years of professional experience and has published twelve research papers in international and national conferences and seminars.

In 2014, Mr. Shekappa Bandi passed the UGC-KSET with the subject library and information science.

Mr. Akash has joined Vikram Sarabhai Library, IIM Ahmedabad in December 2022 as a Library Professional Assistant. Previously he was working as a Library Assistant at Ahmedabad University, Ahmedabad from Oct-2019 to Dec-2022.He had also worked as a Library Trainee at Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Akash has completed his Master of Library Science & Bachelor of Library and Information Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. And completed Bachelor of Commerce from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.

Saurabh completed his Master of Library Science and Information Science in 2022 and Bachelor of Science in 2020 from Dr Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar M.P. (Sagar University).

He qualified twice for the UGC NET in June 2021 and December 2023.
