Vikram Sarabhai Library has the RFID based self-return drop box facility available near library entrance, were user can drop book at the RFID drop box (one book at a time) and software return the book automatically. User will receive a book returns receipt from the drop box and receive the book return intimation email.

The Vikram Sarabhai Library every Monday announces New Arrival of books, periodicals and IIMA news. The newly arrived books are displayed near the Circulation Counter.

The book drop box has been placed at the entrance of the underpass from the new campus near the AXIS Bank ATM. This is to facilitate easy return of issued library books by just dropping the books inside the drop box instead of coming physically to the library to return the book.

The Library will arrange to collect the books daily at 5 p.m. The user will get a confirmation mail from library circulation once the book is returned in the library software.

Library has three RFID based self-operated photocopy/printing/scanning machines and one in SAB new campus. Patrons who are interested to avail the photocopy and printing facility can request library to create their account in the photocopy machine. Library will provide a log in id and password to each patron. Copyright rules are applicable to photocopying and printing process.

The color printing/photocopy facility is presented by Forum for Industry Interaction 2015-16.

Charges are given below:
For Black and White copy: INR 1/- (A4 size) and INR 2/- (A3 size).
For Color copy: INR 10/- (A4 size) and INR 15/- (A3 size).

The faculty can reserve the item/s which are issued to others. Whenever the item/s is/are returned, the user will get an auto email.

They can also reserve the book/s which are available in the library. In such cases, the staff will collect the book/s from the stack area and keep it at the circulation counter. The same will be conveyed to the faculty by email.

In both the cases, the reserved items should be collected within 2 days, else the reservation will stand cancelled and the item will be issued to other immediate member.

Reserve/Hold the book/s through the online catalogue, using "Place hold" option.
