Provides access to Indian cases and judgments of the particular area and jurisdiction. The database contains supreme court, high court and criminal law cases and judgments.
Bloomberg
Bloomberg database offers real-time and historical financial information on individual equities, stock market indices, bonds, fixed-income securities, currencies, commodities, and futures for international and domestic markets. It also provides company profiles and financial statements, analysts' forecasts, news on worldwide financial markets, and audio and video interviews and presentations by key players in business and finance.
CMIE ProwessIQ
ProwessIQ is an interactive querying system that runs on the Prowess database. The Prowess database contains financial performance data of around 100,000 Indian companies. It contains data from 1989. The database contains all companies traded on the NSE and the BSE, thousands of unlisted public limited companies and hundreds of private limited companies. Prowess IQ covers the financial statements, interim results, annual reports, market capitalization, stock price & capital changes, business segments and products, CapEx and M&A, Ownership structure and governance indicators and Indices value.

District GVA of India (2011-12 to 2019-20)
The District GVA is the most complete and extensive database on the Indian economy at this fine geographic level. It was first published in 2006 (formerly DGDP) and is currently updated yearly. It offers information on the performance of the economy at the district level. More crucially, it gives sector-specific estimates of GVA for each district in India (as per Census 2011).
GVA by sector: Estimates of district value-added product for the three major sectors, Agriculture & Allied, Industry, Services, and 13 sub-sectors.

LSEG (Eikon Workspace)
Provides current data of exchange-traded instruments including stocks, warrants, options, futures, indexes, etc. around the world, historical equity data ranging from several months to over 20 years, government and corporate bonds information from over 100 countries, foreign exchange rates for 175 currencies, comprehensive coverage on commodities and energy, economic indicators (e.g., consumer price index) for many countries, extensive business and financial information for listed companies. It is accessible via LSEG Workspace.
LSEG (SDC Platinum)
SDC Platinum is a collection of financial transaction databases that includes mergers & acquisitions, global new issues, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, venture capital, syndicated loans, and global public finance. It is accessible via LSEG Workspace.

Joint Ventures - Access to Joint Venture and Strategic Alliances content.
Loans - Access to Leveraged Loans content.
M&A - Includes detailed data on global M&A activity and repurchases.
Municipals - Contains data on US and international municipal new issues.
New Issues -Provides global coverage of equity, bond, and loan new issues.
PE - Contains data on exits, fundraising, and investments.
Poison Pills - Access to Poison Pills content.
Repurchases - Access to Repurchase content.
Overview
The Vikram Sarabhai Library has 115+ databases in its e-resources collection. The databases have been divided into different categories content wise like company & country database, scholarly resources, research support resources and legal databases. These databases fulfill the specific requirements sought by the users.
- Most of the databases are accessible through IP, while some databases require log-in ID & password.
- The faculty and existing students can access the databases off-campus through Remote Access.
- The Databases should be used solely for academic and research needs and not for any commercial purpose.

About VSL
The Vikram Sarabhai Library (VSL) is named after Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, world renowned physicist and founding Director of IIMA. It was set up in 1962 and is one of the best management libraries in Asia. The library is open 24x7.
