Ms. Asha Desai is working as an assistant librarian at Vikram Sarabhai Library. She joined the institute in 2008 as a professional assistant (library); before joining IIMA, she worked as an assistant librarian at ICFAI Business School, Ahmadabad. At present, she oversees the library's Research Support & Reference Services.

She was awarded for outstanding performance at IIMA for the years 2014-15, 2017-18 & 2022-23.

Mr Bhaumikkumar Solanki has been working as a senior library professional at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad since November 2015. Before joining IIM Ahmedabad, he worked in various positions at MICORE (MICA), CPIFT, and SIEM.

He has worked in the periodicals, NICMAN, digital resources, and circulation sections of the library for the last 11 years and is currently working in the reference and ILL section. His primary assignments are related to the reference queries, interlibrary loans, and online chat services.

Mr Bhaumikkumar Solanki qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2013 in the subject of library and information science and has a diploma in the "O" Level from NEILIT.

He was awarded the Director's Incentive Award for outstanding performance at IIMA for the years 2020-21 & 2023-24.

Ms. Arathi joined Vikram Sarabhai Library, IIM Ahmedabad, as a Library Professional Assistant in April 2025. Previously, she worked as a Professional Assistant at the Indian School of Business Hyderabad and Library Professional Trainee at IIT Gandhinagar Library.

She completed her Master of Science in Library and Information Science in 2022 from the Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore, and her Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics in 2020 from the University of Hyderabad.

She qualified for UGC NET JRF in June 2022.

Mr. Sumanta Mishra has joined Vikram Sarabhai Library, IIM Ahmedabad in December 2022 as a Library Professional Assistant. Previously he was working as a Library Assistant at Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad from Jan-2019 to Dec-2022. He had also worked as Professional Assistant at the Indian School of Business - Hyderabad from Nov-2016 to Dec-2018.

Mr. Sumanta has completed his master's degree in Library and Information Science from Sambalpur University in the year 2016.

He was awarded for Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the year 2024-25.

Mr. Akash has joined Vikram Sarabhai Library, IIM Ahmedabad in December 2022 as a Library Professional Assistant. Previously he was working as a Library Assistant at Ahmedabad University, Ahmedabad from Oct-2019 to Dec-2022.He had also worked as a Library Trainee at Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Akash has completed his Master of Library Science & Bachelor of Library and Information Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. And completed Bachelor of Commerce from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.

He was awarded for Outstanding Performance at IIMA for the year 2024-25.

He has qualified the UGC NTA NET in June 2018.
