Technology Applications
The IT Section of Vikram Sarabhai Library is responsible for website development, server maintenance and back up of Integrated Library Management Software Koha. It also looks after the customization and up-gradation of the Institutional Repository (IR) at VSL. The IT Team at VSL is dedicated to provide an accessible computing environment in terms of both infrastructure and equipment to its users. It ensures that the computers at cyber lab and other places in the library are fully updated for the library users. The library is well connected with Wi-Fi network for IIMA community (restricted to faculty and students only). The IT Team provides necessary support for the RemoteXs service provided to the faculty and current students of IIMA.

About VSL
The Vikram Sarabhai Library (VSL) is named after Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, world renowned physicist and founding Director of IIMA. It was set up in 1962 and is one of the best management libraries in Asia. The library is open 24x7. Our mission is to facilitate convenient and user friendly access to current, global and relevant information by identifying, acquiring, organizing and retrieving information in various formats (print & non print) to serve the information needs of the academic fraternity of IIMA to meet their teaching, research, consulting, training and learning requirements.
